Lil’ Buzzy JiBee

After crocheting my 1st “littleyarnfriend” Tubby (refer to previous post), I can’t wait to start on my next project. I looked into my bag of yarn and found some left-over yellow and black yarn. Immediately, i knew what i wanted to crochet next.

This is Buzzy JiBee, my 2nd “littleyarnfriend”. Ain’t he lovable? He is named after Jimmy Bee.

I followed the body pattern of Artedonia’s Bumble Bee:

Somehow the Antenna and Hands looked really chunky when i followed the pattern. Perhaps the yarn I used was too thick, Buzzy ended up looking as if he had horns on his head. I quickly fixed that problem. With some trial and error, i managed to crochet my own Antenna and hands that suits Buzzy better. Buzzy has a lovable and bubbly nature. So i added a big blue heart for him to hold on his hands. Did you know that blue is his favorite color?

Welcome to the “little yarn friends” family Buzzy. I gave Buzzy a mission, which is to always cheer JiBee up whenever he is lonely or sad. I’m sure Buzzy will excel in his job because he has so much love to give. And that smile that brightens up your day each time you see him.
