Lil’ Puppy Blu chases all your blues away

Little Yarn Friends presents to you their 3rd Creation, “Lil’ Puppy Blu”. This little puppy was inspired by my 2 lovely 4 legged besties, Twinkle and Crystal. I am so blessed to have them in my life. Dogs are indeed man’s best friend. They are someone that will always be there for us no matter rain or shine, happy or sad. Someone that we can always rely on. They never fail to be there for us 24/7. They are forever loyal, so adorable and their love towards us is unconditional and genuine. I thank God for creating dogs, they are such amazing friends and pals. They are indeed our Best friends for Life!

After a tiring day at work, I always look forward to going home because i know my little white fluffy friend will be sitting at the door waiting patiently to greet me when i’m home. She never fails to cheer me up no matter how horrible my day is, showering me with all her love by licking my face, wagging her tail and jumping around with a wide smile on her face.  

The idea of making Lil’ Puppy Blu came about one gloomy day when no one was at home except for my little pal and I. I was surfing the net, reading articles about animal abuse and animals being abandon by their owners. I felt angry and terrible for them. These creatures are the best. I don’t understand why some people can harm them. My heart goes out to these animals. I stared at Twinkle, she was sound asleep beside me. She is a blessed happy little dog. If only all animals are treated fairly. Unfortunately, some are not.

I wanted this creation to be a little bit more special because it represents my special doggy friends. Therefore, I’ve decided to attempt to make my amigurumi with a detachable face with 2 expressions (front and back). One side showing a happy face and the other side a sad face. I can switch it around whenever I want to. Yes, this creation is to remind all of us that their happiness depends on us. Make them smile and make their lives a happy one.

Took a picture of the materials that I’ve used for this creation. I’ve decided to use white yarn because my fluffy friend is white and blue yarn to relate it to blue, gloomy sad feeling. And as usual I packed them in my little bag so I can bring it wherever I go and crochet whenever I am free. 

And this is Lil’ Puppy Blu. Added little white paws and a red heart on his chest because this puppy has so much love to give. He is looking a little sad now probably he is alone and wants your attention. Come and play with him. (Sorry, I didn’t take in progress pictures for this project because I was usually outside home when I’m crocheting.)

Yay! Thanks for loving Lil’ Puppy Blu. He is feeling all happy now. See his little pink tongue, he is so cute! Who can resist this little friend?
